Well pump update. Earlier this week I asked for opinions on replacing my

31 year old well pump. After careful consideration, I decided to replace it before it failed. So yesterday the well service guys arrive and, horrors, the old pump is immovably stuck in the well casing. Today, I'm having a new well drilled. No good intention goes unpunished.
